Everyone has a racial story that matters.
During the Racial Literacy Virtual Institute, participants work to develop foundational skills of racial literacy. You will participate in large & small group, pairs, and independent activities that will help you examine your racial story. By the end of the training, you will be able to:
Define & practice the racial literacy skills of reading, recasting, and resolving
Define & practice at least three (3) different stress reduction mindfulness strategies
Process personal, professional and organizational experiences of decision making during racially stressful encounters to better understand your beliefs & behaviors
